Every year, RHEDI provides financial assistance to select family medicine residents to attend The North American Forum on Family Planning or The Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Annual Spring Conference. The scholarship is for family medicine residents who are interested in clinical research and education related to the integration of abortion care and family planning within family medicine.

Eligibility
All residents at U.S. family medicine residency programs are invited to apply for the above scholarships. Priority is given to residents with a demonstrated interest in family planning within family medicine who have had limited opportunities to pursue this interest within their current setting.

Residents from RHEDI programs are also eligible to apply for a scholarship to attend the AAFP National Conference for Family Medicine Residents & Medical Students. This scholarship is for residents interested in getting involved in AAFP advocacy related to the integration of full-spectrum reproductive health care in family medicine.

The RHEDI Resident Scholarship covers only approved conference related expenses, and is provided in the form of reimbursement.
